Gluten free bread was nice, comes from fridge in back in it's own individual wrapper but gloves not changed and surface/trays being used not changed so wouldn't advise as being safe. Would need to check these things are done and feel comfortable to tell staff to change gloves etc. if not

Not safe coeliac or those with wheat allergies.
Didn’t know subway did GF bread!
There was an allergen guide at the counter which was very clear. They offered gluten free bread then for the fillings the plain chicken, rotisserie chicken, pepperoni, ham and salami were all listed as gluten free (along with most of the sauces)! I informed staff and they changed their gloves every time they touched my sandwich. Staff were lovely. Gluten free bread came out of a separate area and was in a sealed bag.
But it is a fast food sandwich shop. Absolutely enormous cross contamination risk, with staff touching meats and cheeses with hands that have touched bread too. Everything toasted in the same oven. I chose not to get salad to reduce my risk of cross contamination risk, but I think the risk is still almost 100% due to having meats and cheeses.
It’s definitely not safe for coeliacs or those with a wheat allergy. But if you find yourself at the services desperately needing something to eat, it’s probably the best of a bad bunch (with burger king, kfc, chopstix and starbucks).

Staff refused to use fresh ingredients to make non-contaminated food, did not understand cross contamination and said ‘but we wear gloves’. Not safe for celiacs.

All subways has glutenfree baguette. The allergy card is in front of the counter, so you can see for yourself what you can eat. It was very delicious!

Gluten free bread is available on request. This is collected from a different area but not sure about cross contamination when it comes to the toaster. If ordering on an app I normally have to call the store to get them to change the bread which has never been a problem
