I wanted to try mansaf (typical Jordanian dish with lamb, rice and fermented yogurt sauce). I was assured that they would leave out the bread for me and that the dish would therefore be gluten-free. After I had eaten about a third of the dish, I noticed that there was a very thin flatbread in the middle underneath the rice. Since it was extremely thin and had dissolved in the rice, I had eaten it unnoticed up to this point. The waiter apologized and offered me a new dish without bread, which I passed up. We didn't have to pay for my food, but unfortunately I had to deal with pain for a week. Maybe I was unlucky and they are otherwise more attentive, but based on my experience I strongly advise anyone with celiac disease not to visit this restaurant.
The taste if the food was on top mediocre and they on also bring you water you did not order and charge it. Apart from the incident at my visit it’s overrated (50 best list not deserved in my opinion).
