Had the bacon cheeseburger and fries and an ice cream. Fairly basic, and would have liked some more fries, but good and I didn't get sick. They label which of their ice creams are gluten free, and they also have a small selection of So Delicious dairy free ice creams and gluten free cones.

We have been here twice. Both times the service was very slow. The second time we were one of two customers in the restaurant, with 2 waiters and 3 working in kitchen (that I could see). The waiters were not efficient or friendly. Our lunch took 45 minutes to come out after ordering and the food was just ok. Pretty pricey, I thought, for portion size. My Celiac daughter had no problem with the food so that was definitely a positive.

We were rained out while camping and drive into town for dinner. This place is amazing. Servers were friendly and very careful. All food was made to order. We had burgers, and they were really, really good. The meat was juicy and the burgers were thick. The GF buns were surprising--I usually go bunless because GF buns just crumble away, but not these. The spinach and tomatoes on the burgers were fresh and ripe. Fries were perfectly seasoned and prepared in a dedicated fryer. The kitchen has dedicated prep areas. They even had dairy-free ice cream which was a real treat. This place was so good we stopped again on our way out of town. Our celiac family loved to support this business!

Just about all menu items can be made gluten free!! My kids had the grilled cheese and a cheeseburger and both liked the food. The ham and turkey on white (non gf) was very good too. Then topped it off with gluten free ice cream cones! Very nice and super cute place

I'm Celiac so must be GF and I'm vegan by choice. The Sugar Bear is a dream come true for me. Both GF and vegan options on the menu and a wait staff that is allergy-knowledgable and friendly. I had the veggie burger on a GF bun, chips, and chocolate soy ice cream on a GF cone. The owner is Celiac and obviously understands the need for allergy-friendly food places. I will return here again, even if I have to go out of my way. This is a definite 'find' for those that need a safe place to eat. Wish there were more of them!

Great place for people with not only a gluten allergy, but dairy as well. They also have vegan options. They were very friendly and helpful about the gluten free menu and were willing to answer a ton of questions. Owner has celiac disease so they have a dedicated space for food allergies. Overall a great place!!

SUPER DUPER!! Had a GREAT menu - the owner brought my meal out wearing a glove, she has celiac herself and knows all about contamination. Great options! Kids eat free on Thursday (with paid adult entree)!! Had an amazing olive burger on GF bun with potato salad and coleslaw and for dessert had a marvelous peanut butter parfait with hot fudge and salted caramel cup ice cream.

Adorable place we found on a road trip. Something for both me, gluten free and my 3 yr old. Impressed with the menu and the allergy awareness. The food was wonderful and a nice change of pace for this newly gluten free mom. Kid's play corner was a welcome surprise on a long road trip. Plan to stop next time we're through!
