The Sugar Mill is our local and it's had a couple of ownership changes over the past few years.
It's currently Marston's and the most up-to-date menu includes burgers (with Genius bun), nachos, sausage and mash, jacket potatoes (before 3pm) and desserts (rocky road sundae, chocolate fudge cake, praline chocolate tart, sticky toffee pudding).
We talked to the manager today who confirmed that the fryer is only used for chips so there is no cross contamination there. They also use a GF grill. He advised they've recently updated to managing 20 allergens, up from the usual 14.
They've also added some more soft drinks (Britvic bottles and Irn Bru cans) so I had britvic 55 apple.
My meal had an allergen flag when it came out.
