My husband is Korean, so when we came to LA, we HAD to try some food in K-town. We spoke with the waitress prior to ordering who was VERY helpful and confirmed there was no gluten or soy sauce in the Knee Cap Soup, Angus Beef Cabbage Soup, and Oxtail Soup. In speaking with her, just as an FYI to any who may come, anything with the beef broth and/or glass noodles (which are made from tapioca and sweet potato starch and she confirmed we're gluten free), and WITHOUT soy sauce seemed safe. Just ask about gluten/wheat and soy sauce and avoid dishes with it. I ate the soup, rice and Kimchi but skipped the banchan plate (little appetizers) as they had soy sauce. I did not feel sick or have any symptoms afterwards and the waitress was so helpful. Excellent service and phenomenal food. I hope this helps others looking for gluten free Korean food in LA!
