Came here for breakfast when it was clear Opryland wasn’t going to cut it. Delicious muffins, breakfast sandwiches and biscuits and gravy. Food came out fast and the staff is friendly and super knowledgeable about all allergens.

Don’t confuse this place with Sunflower Cafe - not much is GF there. At Sunflower Bakehouse, they only bake GF, so I feel safe eating here. I have been 5 times! Staff seems allergy aware. It would be VERY easy for them to be dedicated GF. The best cupcakes are lemon and cookies & cream! I will say they could use stand to add more side options and/or a bigger variety of chips.

LOVE this place. Have only ever ordered from the bakery side which is all GF so can’t speak to the rest of the menu. Most recently had the cookies n crème cupcake which was so delicious. Have also had the carrot cake cupcake and a couple of the upside down cakes — all great!

OMG, this place is amazing! I was in Nashville for a last minute visit, with my vegan friend, and found them through this app. It seemed perfect for us both, and we were not disappointed at all. It's very close to the airport, which is where we were staying. Everyone who works there is so nice and friendly! I had a Diner burger - on a gf/v PRETZEL bun! It was sooo yummy. We loved it so much we also ordered more to take back to the hotel to munch on basically the rest of the weekend. They have local kombucha on tap and you can mix the flavors. We got a german chocolate upsidedown cake to share, as it was huge - it was so tasty and not heavy or overly sweet at all, just delicious. We did return the next night and the staff remembered us lol. They said Saturday morning had been busy busy, but it wasn't crowded in the evening, they were just out of some items. Cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you have multiple allergies or restrictions - you will find yourself asking them, are you SURE this is gf?! If there is something you want badly you can check/order online to be sure they don't run out before you get there. Everything we tried was delicious and safe to eat.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! The sheer variety of safe GF items was astounding. The sausage breakfast roll was sooo good. I also had delicious scones and cupcakes. All 10/10!

Service was great. This is the place to go if you have celiac. They even offer GF beer. Had a impossible burger and it was fantastic. Husband had a salad and he loved it. Bought items from the bakery to take home. This is primarily a GF restaurant.

You can stop searching, this is the place to go! I feel so incredibly safe eating here and the food actually tastes GOOD! They are VERY knowledgeable on not only all things gluten free, but they are also great for people with other allergies. Nobody could believe the pot pie I was eating was gluten free AND vegan (I got a few meat eaters to taste it and they still didn’t believe me). Same for the cupcakes and parfaits. The baked goods are also pretty big, so you can definitely easily share. 10/10, no notes, amazing!!!

Wow. Based on all the positive reviews I had high hopes for this place. My friends and I drove way out of our way to go here, and to say the food was disappointing is an understatement.

Not only did the food expensive & taste bad, we all started feeling weird on the drive back. Once we got home, literally everyone ran to the bathroom, including my 3 non-GF friends. All 4 of us ate different things, so I don't believe it was food poisoning.

I can tell it wasn't a gluten reaction, so I will mark this as safe. But the food was so bad, I cannot recommend this place.

Although they do have wheat bread available at request with select breakfast items, the bread is purchased and stored in the back in a separate area away from all the gluten free. Their bakery and menu are gluten free. They take allergies seriously. The food was delicious and we plan to visit again when we are back in the area.

This place is amazing. One of the workers I talked to had celiacs as well and says how careful they are. Everything is gluten free, unless you ask for gluten bread on your sandwich. The non gf bread is wrapped and stored away from everything else so there’s no cross contamination. This place is basically dedicated gf and the bakery items are so good.

Super great food! Ate here throughout the entirety of my trip. They were knowledgeable about celiacs and cross contamination. Extremely accommodating to other allergies as well! If you’re not vegan and worried the food will taste off because of that, you’d be very wrong. I’m not vegan myself and one other in my party is very picky on taste. She was unable to tell. The cupcakes, scones, and muffins were awesome! Biscuits and gravy was amazing as well. The sunflower cali was my go to while I was there. I still make the sunflower cali for myself at home!

We were so excited to find this place! We planned our trip home from vacation around being able to stop here and try some of the GF/ DF / almond free options. We all loved it (even the non-GF person with us). We tried the blueberry bake, the French toast bake, biscuits and gravy, scones and lots of other pastries! They were delicious. The scones were our favorites of what we’ve tried so far. Samantha took our order and she is one of the nicest people I’ve met - so friendly, helpful, and happy to answer all our questions. She was as excited as we were that we found Sunflower & that made us feel so special. :) Thank you for the great visit!

We ordered from Sunflower Bakehouse via Uber Eats and had a fantastic lunch. The entire menu is gluten free and vegan, though there are wheat-based rolls available for the sandwiches, making it not *entirely* gluten free. I had the Buffalo chickpea salad, which was excellent and so satisfying. I also had a cupcake for dessert. The cake was fine, the frosting was excellent! Others in my party had a couple of other salads, sandwiches, sides, and bakery items, and the reviews were all positive. Was very thankful to have this option for a traveling business lunch when I couldn’t afford to risk being sick! (Note there is no “separate gluten free menu” because the whole menu is gluten free unless asking to modify to wheat-based, rather than the other way around as we’re used to. (We were dining at the Opryland resort and had 2 different parties approach us asking where we got our food-that’s how beautiful and bright it was.)

We were in town for a visit at Vanderbilt for my 4 year old daughter with celiac, and we had heard rave reviews about this place and wanted to surprise her with a treat. It surpassed the hype and expectations. Absolutely amazing cupcakes. Definitely recommend the carrot cake cupcake! It is amazing whenever we can eat out safely and we are so grateful places like this exist.. safe and yummy!

Great food, cute atmosphere. Had the 1/2 soup/sandwich combo with tomato bisque and the TBLT (turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato). The sandwich was on GF focaccia which was excellent.

Lots of bakery options. The cookies are huge. We had an iced sugar cookie which was yummy.

Bookmarked this for next time we are in Nashville.

Having celiac disease is extremely hard in my rural Missouri community, so upon visiting Nashville I made sure to stop here and I am SO happy that I visited this place. Every single thing I put in my mouth was absolutely delicious and I kept thinking “how could something this good be gluten free and vegan?!” Anything on the menu is phenomenal. I couldn’t be happier with the service, the energy in the atmosphere and the amazing sweets they have. If I could give 6 stars I would.

I was so thrilled to find a bakery with great cupcakes and were completely gluten free! I was pleasantly surprised to find out they have a range of coffee drinks and foods that are also gluten free! Confirmed that the bakery food doesn’t come near the areas that have gluten/wheat and is handled by different employees so they can avoid cross contamination.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Friendly staff and AMAZING options that were quite tasty!! I ordered 4 different items… blueberry muffin was excellent. Sausage roll was very good. I had three meals and a dessert here while on a short vacation and honestly I’m so sad that I can’t stay longer just to try everything else on the menu. And if that wasn’t enough, everyone in the establishment (both patrons and staff) were so sweet! I can’t wait to go back.
