The GF menu was almost as big as the regular menu. I got the burger on GF toast, which was very good. Both their red and green chile is GF. Portions are large; the same size as the regular food.
My wife ate regular food (she is not Celiac) and thought it was excellent.
This is a good choice for families where someone needs to be GF.
Best of all, I didn’t get sick.
Been here many times over the last few months. Staff is knowledgeable on Gluten sensitivity, portions are generous, and the food is delicious! Red and green chile here are both gluten free. I often get the Denver omelette or the GF pancake which is massive. You can always substitute regular bread for GF bread. Menu items are marked and vegan options are also available! Came here 3 times during my most recent trip, and it was great every time!!
I found this place to be fantastic. They are only open for breakfast and lunch 😋. They close at 2pm. They have a great Gluten-free menu. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Alot of food for the money and I eat there 2 days in a row. I had the eggs Benedict and it was so wonderful. No other place I have eaten breakfast has offered eggs Benedict..
Had a very good experience here for breakfast—both the wait staff and owner are very well informed and helpful. Waitress explained what items were both gluten free and prepared separately and which were not: this is also marked clearly on the menu. They also mark which dishes are vegan. I had a Mediterranean frittata with dressed greens and gluten free toast and my meal was excellent. Even the gluten free toast was good, which isn’t always the case, and was prepared separately as well. (The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the weak brewed coffee!)
The menu has all the gluten-free items marked on it. There was a nice selection, and they offer gluten-free bread/toast for $1 extra as a substitute. I had an omelette with hollandaise sauce and potatoes. When I turned down the gluten-free toast, the server offered another side, so I had a nice bowl of fresh fruit instead. The server was knowledgeable about my needs as a person with celiac and said she would tell the kitchen so that they could take extra precautions to avoid cross contamination. Since I don't have symptoms with small exposures to gluten, I cannot say for sure, but I feel that the food was gluten-free. Others had eggs Benedict and raspberry granola pancake. All food was excellent, and I don't usually say that when I eat out. I would definitely eat here again.
Staying at the hotel across the parking lot and decided to give this café a try. I had the oatmeal pancake with blueberries strawberries and syrup on top. It was a nice large portion, about the size of a dinner plate, however the middle was not fully cooked. They were very busy and I think they just didn’t cook it long enough. The staff was very friendly and I will definitely give them a another try on future trips.
Sunnyside Up offers a plethora of GF options. They mark much of the menu to let you know. They have oatmeal pancakes and can substitute GF toast or fruit for the menu items that include non GF bread products. The server seems pretty educated about GF. I don’t know about their prep for Celiacs because of the other bread products on the menu, but for gluten intolerance and allergies it’s a go to!
