Sunset Cafe

Last night I went to the Sunset Cafe in Greensburg and had a fantastic experience! I used to go here a lot with my family prior to the change in ownership. However the new team is still very cognizant of GF needs. The menu no longer has GF items noted but you can ask for items to be made GF and they will work with you.

The menu is pretty much the same as before and they have GF penne. I got the grilled chicken salad and it was some of the best grilled chicken I’ve ever had! Our server was very accommodating and great with our toddler and infant nephews. It was a very memorable night and I’m looking forward to going back! ☺

The online menu showed GF items but in house did not. The server was aware of all options. GF pasta and many dishes to choose from. I had chicken marsala and it was ok. Seasoning was a little off. Had a flour less chocolate cake that was phenomenal! Definitely going to be a regular for me.

Well marked GF menu, lots of options for dinner and apps. Staff was knowledgeable. Food was delicious. Loosing last star just because they don’t have gf pasta. Risotto was to die for!

There are appetizers, salads, chicken, fish, steak and pork dinners that are all gluten free. No GF pasta but they have polenta. The risotto is to die for.

AVOID!!! Ordered a meal to go, told them I was gluten free. Picked my food up ( no utensils either) three pieces of bread AND noodles on my salad. AVOID AVOID!!!!

Hardly any gluten free food options. I thought they would have gluten free pasta, but they didn't. Basically steak was all I could eat there. The steak was expensive and burnt! Not worth it. Plus, my husband got contaminated!

The staff was great! They answered all my questions and were knowledgable! The GF chicken dish was outstanding! We will be back for sure!

My meal was great! Staff were great! When they brought bread for the table the brought vegetables and dip for me. Very knowledgeable. Sorry we live far away and were just passing.

This is such a great place! The gluten free options are outstanding... I highly recommend Sunset to everyone- gluten free or not.

I'll give them 4 stars because they do an amazing job at being gluten free but I wish they made it clearer what is dairy-free. Still, I have a few staple meals there that have never disappointed and the atmosphere is great. It is our date night go to.
