Has salad that was very fresh. Blackened fish was very good. Key lime vinaigrette was good. Wish there was more to choose from.

My family loved this place! We went 3 times in 5 days. I have celiac and felt very comfortable eating there. Danielle and Nina were great waitresses that were very knowledgeable about gluten. I had seafood salad over greens, Sunset salad, and a side salad with crab artichoke bisque. The other family members had shrimp tacos and fried shrimp. Everything was delicious!! Highly recommend Sunset Grille.

The menu clearly has GF options marked. Jack, the server, was very helpful once I told him “allergy”. The food was delicious (Minorcan Datil Shrimp). The server was attentive. A manager stoppe by twice to check on us. The view was great when sitting upstairs. Love this place!

Had the crab and artichoke bisque. Was delicious and creamy. Did not get sick. Going back for the Minorcan Chowder!

Careful who your server is. Angelique , at the bar served a warm roll on my salad plate when I order as ‘no croutons, because I’m gluten free’.
No
No Gfree items were marked on the menu but our server was very knowledgeable of what was Gfree and what could be made Gfree. Ask questions! They have salad, grilled/blackened seafood, burgers, chicken, tacos and steaks. I had the ultimate seafood salad and it was delish! My mother had grilled shrimp, baked potato and coleslaw which was also amazing. My sister loved the sunset salad with blackened shrimp. We all enjoyed the service and food so much we talked about going back for dinner another night. If you are in St. Augustine, don't miss out on a wonderful meal at Sunset Grille.

1 of the best on the island, chowders are awesome, burgers are awesome.
Ask a lot of questions. Menu is not marked. Most salads can be made to accommodate. Fresh fish! Had a great salad with grilled shrimp, sweet potato hummus and key lime vinegarette!
Gluten free options but not celiac safe. Ahi tuna was fantastic, order without fried ginger. New York strip had an amazing flavor. Portion sizes are large.
No
No gluten free menu and the waitress didn’t know much. She said “I guess you could try something grilled”. Disappointing after the other reviews I read. However we did get a drink and some peel and eat shrimp, which were delicious. Just decided to move on to somewhere else to actually order dinner.
Dish:
Grilled Seafood Combo (shrimp, scallops and white fish)
Baked potato with sour cream and butter
Plain French green beans
Entire plate was unseasoned
Restaurant and server (Matt) were extremely accommodating and considerate with all food allergies.

Have dedicated area gluten free.

We asked before being seated. Hostess spoke with us and explained what we could order, waiter was also very nice and answered questions.....two celiac eaters. In our group. Food was great. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food....would definitely eat here again. Great service.
Yes
Waitress was not educated on the restaurant having anything gluten free. She said they have a gluten free fryer but could not make anything fried for us because they don’t have gluten free flour. The only options were the same as anywhere else, grilled shrimp and chicken
No GF menu. No items listed. No clue when I called. No idea why it’s listed here.
Our server was very knowledgeable about Celiac and gluten free options. She said they had a dedicated service area in their kitchen for gluten free foods. I ordered Blackened Red Snapper and it was cooked perfectly. One of the best meals I have enjoyed since being diagnosed with Celiac. I’ll be going back soon!
