Wow! Very safe. Everything is GF. And the food is awesome and I'm not even vegan. It's like almost gourmet level food but from a pick up counter. Price good for the quality of food. The use Bob's Red Mill GF oats for some stuff. I pretty much avoid a oats. You can speak with the chef before you order and they can leave them out of some stuff.

True farm to table restaurant. The Bowls I've had have all been very tasty! Artful presentation. Talented chefs who take pride in their work. Would recommend this cafe!

This place was super cute. Sadly, I got a rash after eating here. I'm actually allergic to dairy. Despite the chef telling me that "it's all gluten free and vegan" I ended up with a classic dairy rash on both sides of my face and a bloated tummy. I loved the vibe but I can't ever return. Please take cross contamination seriously.

Update from the last review posted: after speaking with the kitchen manager this week, I can confirm that the oats used at Surya are certified gluten free. All menu items are vegan, and there is no gluten used in the kitchen whatsoever! Happy to know about this completely safe, Celiac friendly restaurant just south of Madison.

Wonderful food in an almost completely gluten free (not oats though) facility inside Perennial Yoga studio. Be careful if you have celiac, because the oats are NOT GF even though the menu says all items are gluten-free. I believe the bread and some of the muffins contain oats.
