The sushi was fresh and they will accommodate gluten free, but communication was an issue. They didn’t understand when I was ordering.
We had a wonderful experience! My celiac partner and I got sushi and rolls. We asked the kitchen to use a clean preparation area and knives, and we saw that listed under our order on the receipt. It's great that this restaurant listened, because most of the time the servers will say yes but never ask the kitchen to use clean cookware. The server also went back and forth with the kitchen to make sure that our order would be safely prepared. That was very much appreciated. The sushi was amazing, however the gluten free chicken teriyaki was okay and the portion was small. I ordered yellowtail and Toro sashimi, yellowtail scallion roll, spicy lobster dinosaur, toro roll, and salmon belly sushi. The server actually forgot about the salmon belly sushi, and apologised and made sure it was off the bill. The food we ate was delicious. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the servers were very attentive and careful. The price is a bit on the high side, as usual for the location. We will definitely return here.
Fantastic, fresh sushi! They carefully checked the ingredients in the sushi rice to verify that it is, in fact, gluten free.
