*I have only contacted the restaurant since starting my gluten-free diet; I have not directly experienced eating gluten free here
I contacted the business to ask if they could accommodate someone with celiac disease, and the answer was yes. (Their online menu shows some allergen alerts for peanuts, but not wheat or gluten)
This was their response:
"Thank you for your inquiry, we do have gluten-free options available in the store along with gluten free soy sauce. However, our tempura batter is made of wheat, I would recommend you order sushi as they are mostly gluten free. Our Richmond location staff will be happy to help you with ordering. Feel free to give them a call before your order and if you want to eat in, please notify our staff about your allergy so that the chef will be extremely careful with your order."
