Tiny little shop hidden away, but they are so sweet. They offer gluten free soy sauce and the sushi is made with rice wine vinegar. Very fresh. Their English is not the best, but they understand gluten free soy sauce.
Wonderful experience! I showed my GF card and the waitress immediately knew what I was talking about and brought me a bottle of gf soy sauce and explained clearly what I could order from the menu. The sushi was phenomenal - melted in my mouth! Highly recommend!!
Amazing, well informed and delicious food. Down a back alley but not so hard to fine.

Per the other review, I showed them a card explaining gluten free and they knew exactly what I could and could t order. Amazing food and super kind staff.
Really good sushi, melts in your mouth. I said gluten free, she understood and pointed at everything on the menu that's not GF. Also heard her ask in the kitchen about the soup, they brought out regular soup for the rest of the family with what looked like bread, she pointed and said no. But brought me another one that was GF.
Very good sushi and in general delicious food. Staff well knowledgeable about gluten and english-speaking: sushi rice is cooked with quality rice vinegar, so no rispetto of contamination. Only few seats are available, thus be patient and wait your turn, it worth the time.
I highly recommend this place. Staff perfectly understood gluten-free and showed me everything I could eat. I had sashimi and got gluten-free soy sauce. It was super fresh - the best I’ve had!

This place is really good, not too far from the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and it has lots of safe options! The staff were super kind and understanding of my allergy. I showed them my translation card, and they were very proactive about making sure my food was totally safe! I totally recommend this place.
