When I arrived at Sushi One I explained that I had a serious Gluten Allergy (easy words for a complex illness). The menu has clear indications of dishes that are GF or can be made GF. I asked my waitress to notify the kitchen to cook my noodles in a fresh pot of water (noodles are usually dipped into a pot that cooks all sorts of things with gluten). Then I heard her explain this to the owner and she came back and said they could take care of me. I ate my lunch and ordered another dish to go for dinner. The owner asked me if everything was good (it was) and told me he had many GF customers. I took my leftovers and and my new dish home and my husband and I ate them for dinner. We ate it all! I’m not sick! The food was delicious. My husband said ‘We need to go there more often!’ We will! Thanks Sushi One (located in Lafayette Village).
