We have tried this place 3 times and my husband gets sick EVERYTIME even though he explains he has celiac disease, what that means, and he is always assured they are taking allergy protocol and what he has ordered does not contain gluten. I am also pretty sure they do not know what items contain gluten because we have gotten conflicting answers when asking menu questions :( unfortunately, there won’t be a fourth time. It’s a shame because the sushi is good and the people who work here try to be accommodating.
John who usually works as a server and sometimes in the kitchen is great and understands gluten allergy. They have Tamari and if you specify gluten allergy they will be careful in the kitchen. I usually order the Melting in your Mouth Roll but there are many other options. Usually you have to get no sauce just the gluten free tamari and wasabi. Gluten-free is not specified on the menu but they work with you which is much appreciated. Have never reacted after eating here. You always have to remind them and be vigilant. Food is good quality. Very fresh.
