I’ve really struggled to find a safe place to eat and as you can imagine I’m very anxious trying new places. I highly highly recommend sushi time.
The staff are very knowledgeable on celiac disease. They know what’s gluten free and what’s not. They know how to prepare things cross contamination free. Just let them know when you order.
Honestly the thing that just made me overjoyed was when I ordered for the first time and I opened my bag and they included gluten free soy sauce packets!!! I didn’t even know those existed!
I love this little hole in the wall sushi place. If I call to order, they say "No wasabi, no gluten." I don't have to tell them; it comes up with my phone number. They're so friendly, too, and the sushi is quite good for a standard sushi joint. Fresh fish, and the rice is well made. I've never gotten sick, and we've ordered from them probably hundreds of times over the course of the seven years we've lived in the neighborhood.
The workers are very friendly and will help you get items that are completely soy free and gluten free.
