Wonderful food, bread, chips, pea soup, ambiance and I ordered the chateaubriand for 2 people! Fantastic place! Delicious! A must do restaurant when in London 🇬🇧

This place was incredibly good! They had a decent amount of gluten free options and the waiter understand about celiac and being gluten free. They even had delicious gluten free bread! A little pricey, but worth it, especially if you’re going to the Globe after. Would recommend making a reservation.

Wow. First place I felt confidently ‘normal’. I had catch of the day, salmon and dessert of lemon posset with a gluten free biscuit. Double checked as thought the biscuit would contain gluten. The staff were very thorough with allergens and intolerances. Lovely, relaxing meal.

The swan can do a gluten free afternoon tea if you ask 72 hours in advance. It was absolutely delicious. Best gluten free tea we had in the city of the four we tried. The golden raisin scones were hot and delicious.

This is not a restaurant only location (which is seemingly what the other reviews refer to).
The restaurant is upstairs with the open window nice view and apparently the GF menu. Reservation seems necessary.
The first floor has what the call 'the bar'. Noisy place and clueless staff. Don't order the GF sweet potatoe chips, they are inedibly gooey.

Great place to have a bite before or after your visit to the Globe. They offer gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu, and they do their best to avoid contaminations if asked.

I had the gluten free Platinum Jubilee high tea here. I was very impressed! The gf tray was nearly identical to that of the gluten trays; only a few of my desserts were different from what the others were provided. The bread and scones were wonderful! Quite affordable too, for high tea, and lovely views of the Thames. They seemed knowledgeable about cross contamination, but I would call just to verify before taking my celiac brother. Also, make sure to mention you are gluten free when making the reservation, as they might not be as able to accomodate without prior notice.

Lovely, lovely! Came here for dinner and drinks before a show at the Globe. Pleasantly surprised by the chic design and ambiance. The view of the Thames River was beautiful. Not many gluten free items on the menu, but the salad was delicious! The waitress knew about Celiac and said she informed the chef, too. Highly recommend!
