Hands-down, this is my favorite gluten-free bakery. They are dedicated, certified gluten-free and maintain their certification regularly. Their gluten-free bread is the best I’ve ever had. Other favorites are the oatmeal craisin cookies, cupcakes, coffee cake, donuts (available only Friday and Saturday) and stuffing mix. The rest of my family does not need to eat gluten-free, but they love it as much as I do.

I have celiac disease and our neighbors like to buy us desserts for holidays. On 3 separate occasions I have eaten baked goods from here and have vomited all 3 times. I don’t know if they use other ingredients that contain allergens but there is something in the baked goods that’s makes me vomit no matter what

They are the best I've found so far in tha West and South burbs. I love the cinnamon rolls and the cupcakes are usually pretty good, even if a good amount sticks to the paper. The French silk pie is okay when I crave Baker's Square, but the crust is pretty dry. I think it's the same crust used for the quiches which I find even drier. I appreciate that they make hard-to-find items like cannoli, but it is all quite expensive. Even their Chex Mix, which I find super easy to make at home. Also, their hours are quite limited if you work during the week as they close at 4 or 5 and are closed Sundays (and Mondays).

I grew up in the area and have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. 5 stars for safety and dedication to GF, but 3 stars for taste & 2 stars for value.
I really appreciate the existence of a dedicated GF bakery like Sweet Ali’s, but the taste is just not there for me. IMO the bread items are just not good. $10 for a baguette that’s just barely bigger than the size of my hand & is extremely dense and flavorless. The size of a slice of the sandwich bread is the size of a flash card. The cream puff shell is tough and chewy and not at all pastry-like. Etc
Sadly, I have not been impressed by anything I’ve ever tried here as everything tastes obviously gluten free.

After moving to the area, I found this bakery and have fallen in love. I go every week and have brought my non-Celiac friends who say they can’t tell the difference. I have yet to have something I don’t like from here.

The absolute BEST fresh baked goods!!! It is a gluten-free paradise. Their bread is amazing. It is more of a grocery store where you can pop in and get whatever GF food you need. It is always a treat to go here, no indoor or outdoor dining.

I love sweet ali’s!!!! i’ve had birthday cakes made here and i will often pick up holiday treats for halloween, thanksgiving, xmas, ect. they also sell in many grocery stores in the area, so i like to pick up a pack of cupcakes every once in a while. they also have many dairy free options as well :)

I love this bakery! Some of my favorites are the bread (all types), the reeses cookie, the cannoli, and the caramel apple cake! This is my go - to bakery. And a must visit if you are in the area.

They have a huge selection of desserts, including some I’ve never seen in a gluten free bakery before. I got a cake here for my birthday, and it’s really good and was reasonably priced compared to other places I’ve been. Almost all, if not all, their products have dairy free versions as well. You do have to order certain items online in advance. I will definitely be back!

Made my first trip here a week after being diagnosed with Celiac and I almost cried when I saw all the options. The pizza crusts are the best I’ve had! Same with the bread. I also got some of their frozen Italian meals which were delicious. Pound cake and lemon cake are yummy. So basically everything! I live in Chicago but this was well worth the drive.

This is a cute and delicious, dedicated gluten free bakery. I went on a Saturday morning just after it opened and it was packed. I ate an eclair and a taste of the chocolate sprinkled covered fry cake. The fry cake was outstanding and the eclair very good. My granddaughter wanted a lemon bar and raved about it being a ten out of ten! I brought home a chicken pot pie and carrot cupcake which I haven’t tried yet but have high hopes. There was everything from pasta, breads cakes, manicotti and other pasta dishes, pies, plus the usual cookies and brownies and other items. I definitely will go there when visiting family again!

I ate here last year and forgot to review! So worth the drive from Chicago, they have a great variety of desserts. The cannoli was pretty good, the chocolate chip cookie was amazing, and the eclair was perfection. I also really enjoyed the cupcakes and cinnamon buns. The donut can probably be skipped. But overall, highly recommend!

This bakery is fantastic. They are a dedicated gluten free facility. They also offer some food items such as pasta, chicken pot pie, mild Chex mix, etc. Their cupcakes/cakes are out of this world. They also have some dairy free items, if necessary. This place is a gem for celiacs. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about gluten allergies. I can't say enough good things about Sweet Ali's.

I’ve enjoyed pumpkin bread, pumpkin donuts, snickerdoodles, apple pie, and much more! I am sensitive to gums in baked goods, so I can’t eat too much, but it tastes delicious!!! You may also purchase frozen pasta dishes from a local catering company that is effective at gluten free catering.
