Sweet Savannah's of the Florida Keys

Wonderful place! They have a case, to the left, dedicated to gluten free cupcakes, cakes, pies, and bars. They also had a gluten free peanutbutter cookie in the case by the register. Plus there's also ice cream. I got key lime pie, a key lime bar, a chocolate overload cupcake, chocolate lava cake, a peanut butter cookie, and chocolate peanut butter swirl ice cream, all gluten free! (Please don't judge, this was over the course of the week, LOL)

There's also gift shop sorts of items to buy and a big air-conditioned room with seating.

We got ice cream at Sweet Savannah’s. The guy at the counter said all the ice cream was free except any of the ones with cookies. He scooped our ice cream from a container in the back freezer to assure that there would be no cross-contamination. We had chocolate-peanut butter. It was delicious and I did not get sick.

We stopped here to look for breakfast items to keep in the hotel room. They have a separate refrigerator with gf desserts. I had the banana bread with a coffee cake like crumble on top. It was very good! All good the next day👍

We have come here several times while on vacation. They always take great care when dishing up the ice cream. But this time my daughter grabbed a gluten free cake pop and it made her extremely sick. Not sure if the items got mixed up that were labeled gluten free but Definitely will be sticking to ice cream only. Again, they always would dish from a new container for ice cream and never had an issue with that.

The food was great, and I felt fine afterwards. One of the bakers has Celiac, so they are knowledgeable about it. It isn’t a dedicated GF facility. They had many great options, the GF key lime pie was my favorite. I highly recommended this place.

Went with our adult child and grandchild and 3 of us are gluten free (celiac and gluten sensitive). All of our meals were amazing and we enjoyed starters meals and dessert. The flourless cake was amazing. Service was great and ambience is nice as well. Menu is marked gf and others can be adapted. We loved it and had a great experience.

A whole freezer devoted to gluten free desserts . Bring your cooler to keep frozen, wish they had the chocolate chip cookies unfrozen. Only the peanut butter cookies are unfrozen . Per the hours of operation during slow season they open at 1pm but in season they open at 11am.

*Update- Got home and tried my first slice, OMG hands down the best gluten free key lime EVER. The crust is a game changer and WAY BETTER then the tough crust at Kermits

My son and I are both celiac and just had the best dessert here. My son tried the cannoli cheesecake and I had the key lime pie. Both were excellent. This place is a little gem in the Keys! I am not Celiac that I know of but have a very high wheat sensitivity so try my best to keep it out of my diet. I will immediately have swelling/bloating and joint pain when I do indulge. Sweet Savannah's has a dedicated freezer for their gluten free treats. Their key lime pie was the best I have ever had. Including full on gluten versions in the past! The vanilla cupcake with a candy corn pumpkin was also delisious and my bubs loved the traditional chocolate chip cheesecake as well. The gentleman workimg was kind and answered all my questions. He mentioned they have a new baker who is gluten free who has helped them understand more as well. Definitely check this place out!

Best Keylime pie!! I was excited to see the wonderful selection of GF desserts available. I also noticed that they had a separate container for napkins that were marked for GF guests. We obviously had to have Key Lime pie while visiting the Keys and the reviews here helped us decide. Sweet Savannah's did not disappoint us! Best key lime pie ever!!! We bought a whole pie to take home and plan on buying another before we leave. Kids had ice cream. I asked about gf flavors and they said all except ones with cookies and brownie pieces and obvious gluten ingredients. I asked if she could change gloves and get ice cream out of new container. She said yes that they have a separate scooper for allergies and went into back to scoop safe ice cream into cups. My only complaint is no gluten free cones. They would put a smile on many kids faces if they had gf cones. This won't discourage us from returning though. They have a marked gluten free fridge you can get desserts from. Customer service was good, Shop was cute and sitting area had play area for kids, and a little water station to help wash all those sweets down.

Fantastic dessert. An abundance of ice cream choices, many of which are GF. They also carry an assortment of baked goods that are also GF. Since I was in the keys, I had to go with the key lime pie. Very tasty! Will definitely be going back.

Service was fast and courteous (they even put extra whipped cream on my slice of GF key lime!). Most of the GF items were kept in a separate cooler, and everything was clearly labeled. They also have several flavors of ice cream and the servings looked huge although we didn’t get any. My husband got the regular key lime pie and both it and the GF version were delicious! We were SO glad we didn’t have to make the drive down to Key West to the only other confirmed GF key lime pie purveyors are!
