Everything is gluten free, even the fried stuff! Ps the man who posted about pizza must have posted on the wrong restaurant this is a seafood poke and vegan poke place. It is located in the UTC mall near true foods. It’s child friendly if the kid can eat raw fish. They do have plant based options. They will go out of their way to answer ingredient questions and make sure you enjoy your food. This is the only place I know of in San Diego that offered an entirely gluten free menu for Japanese style food! Plus it tastes good. Get this: you have a choice of 6 gluten free sauces to top your bowl with.

Had great food and a lot of gluten free options!
All gf, fried toppings are gf too. And gf soy sauce. We ate there 3 times last month. Great place at the mall for lunch/dinner.

Menu is indeed all gluten free, including sauces. Very tasty, but a little slow to prep food. Ordering online is an option though.

Delicious poke and entire menu is gluten free!
My favorite poke place out there. It’s completely gluten-free and I love that I can have everything on the menu and including all the sauces.

This was on my gf list of places to eat in LA when we came here. But after reading a couple of poor reviews regarding the restaurant chain and not fresh fish, etc I didn’t want to go. But, it ended up being our only option for gluten free food one night because of transportation and time so we ate here. I got a vegetarian bowl because I was worried about the fish after reading the other reviews. It was actually very delicious but spicier than I thought (and I don’t think they had a spicy rating in their menu). Regardless one minute after eating I felt a cramp and I was thinking uh oh. For about ten minutes I felt cramps and then it went away. Middle of the night, sick, still sick in the morning. Not sure if i was glutened or had food poisoning but I definitely don’t recommend. They say everything is gluten free but??? It’s fast food, you order at a kiosk, no communication with a person, how do I really know that’s always the case?? My symptoms were the same as if I had eaten gluten but in other reviews people without celiac also experienced getting sick, but they ate the fish. Either way, I don’t recommend.

We actually ate at the one in Venice for lunch and had a great experience but then went back a few days later and they were no longer preparing lunch in the restaurant to order but were just taking online orders--not sure if that's going to be the thing ongoing or was just a one off for that location etc. but we prefer to order from someone and watch them make. However, this was for us a very safe restaurant--it's entirely gluten free (rice or salad as the base, raw fish, all soy sauce gluten free) and no shrimp or shellfish on the premises. Only potential issues for us would be mustard hidden in a sauce or raw egg in a sauce so we just avoided those but again all sauces were gluten free. Great option for a quick meal, we got it and ate outside (small place).

Overpriced, sure, but the nutrition and convenience make this business an absolute necessity. I typically do not eat animals so I roll with the sweet potato bowl w/ bamboo rice. It’s fresh, crunchy and makes my tummy happy. All of my friends also enjoy eating here, too, which is awesome. Thank you for existing, Sweetfin!
Update: I am fairly sure their lemonades are not celiac-safe — I had a slight reaction on my last visit.
