While this may be gluten free, there is a lot of raw fish around and my friend and I both got severe food poisoning, despite the fact that I ordered a vegetarian meal. It was likely the rice or one of the toppings was contaminated by a serving utensil. When we went, the trash cans were all overflowing, it was messy, and the staff was not very knowledgeable of the menu or how to use the register. Too bad because there are only a couple completely gluten free places in SD and unfortunately getting food poisoned here has crossed this off my list.

Everything is gluten free, even the fried stuff! Ps the man who posted about pizza must have posted on the wrong restaurant this is a seafood poke and vegan poke place. It is located in the UTC mall near true foods. It’s child friendly if the kid can eat raw fish. They do have plant based options. They will go out of their way to answer ingredient questions and make sure you enjoy your food. This is the only place I know of in San Diego that offered an entirely gluten free menu for Japanese style food! Plus it tastes good. Get this: you have a choice of 6 gluten free sauces to top your bowl with.

All gf, fried toppings are gf too. And gf soy sauce. We ate there 3 times last month. Great place at the mall for lunch/dinner.

This is amazing cause dedicated GF facility and has a wide array of options! But it was super warm inside which made me feel a little funny about the safety of the fish
