Swoon's Ridgefield location is now closed, along with their dedicated GF kitchen. They're now merged with The Cake Box in Westport, and all of the "gluten-free" goods are prepared and baked in the same kitchen as their conventional goods. Wheat flour in the air and rampant cross-contamination. NOT safe for celiacs.

Swoon used to be such a treat! Unfortunately now that they are using a shared space they cannot guarantee anything is gluten free and are not safe for celiacs! Definitely do not feel safe going there anymore! Such a shame

So sad that Swoon has moved and now makes their gf baked goods in a shared kitchen. No longer safe for me and my family. Very disappointing.

Tasted the bread-deelish! The chocolate chip cookie had sea salt so balanced out the chunks of chocolate. The tea breads are amazingly moist with lots of flavor. Good prices!

I try to visit Swoon only once a week, because it's hard to control myself. I'm not a cupcake person unless it's my birthday, so I usually opt for the lemon ricotta tea cake or giant chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin cookie. Sometimes a brownie. Everything is moist and delicious. The brioche buns have the taste and texture of the real thing- to die for. Only issue is they have to be special ordered. People complain that the cost is high- but this is very specialized baking using costly ingredients- you get what you pay for. So visit as often as you can, and savor every bite. I hope they're around for a long time!😀

Loooooved SWOON! (Don't be confused by the 109 cheese shop). I had the old school cupcake (in my photo) and it was sooo moist and the cream filling brought me back to my ho- ho days - but this is soooooo much better!! The chocolate chip cookie is moist and chewy and I went back for more !

I got the sweet and salty cupcake. To. Die. For. Oh my gosh😋. It was sooo yummy, great flavor combination I tried on a whim. If I'm in the area again, it is a must visit!

The cupcakes at Swoon are better than any "regular" cupcakes I've ever had!! This is a dedicated gluten free environment which also has vegan options.

Love the baked items but they need to work on a few things. 1.They are not easy to find, tucked away around a corner in a small plaza. 2.They do not always have bread, which needs to be rectified, as they advertise it on the website.3.They do a lot of phone order business, so are always on the phone and typically don;t wait on you right away. 4. They are very expensive, because they cater to a rich Fairfield county crowd.

LOVE the pumpkin tea cake and Moccachino cupcake!! I never eat chocolate cake but it is so moist and delicious. Being a vanilla person I would like to see more GF vanilla based cupcakes with maybe a cinnamon type frosting. Also cinnamon rolls would be great too!

Great focaccia! Best with rosemary but I love it plain as well - fantastic warm, just baked, but I have it almost every day for breakfast. Brush with olive oil and toasted - or add honey and peanut butter - great way to start the day. Swoon also makes a Lemon Ricotta Tea cake that is moist with a perfect balance of sweet with just the right hint of lemon to set off the ricotta. Wonderful for tea or dessert-or breakfast! Good thing I live down the street.

This place is great! Between Swoon and the Cutting Board Cafe across the street this is a celiac's dream come true! We have had the cupcakes as well as custom order cakes both were great.
