Symptomatic Celiac

As I was at the hostess stand, I confirmed with an employee that there were gluten-free items on the menu. Before I could say anything to our waitress regarding my diet, she mentioned she was aware of my need for gluten-free food. She was very helpful and asked the kitchen about one of the specials. There are a handful of gf items on the menu which are marked with a "G." They do not have gf bread or pasta. The fries are cooked in a shared fryer. I ordered the porkchop which was delicious! I had no symptoms of cross-contact with gluten. I would happily eat here again.
