Amazing!! I was passing through and needed lunch. Read reviews here and was not disappointed!! I haven’t had GF Chinese in a decade that I didn’t make at home and to have sweet and sour chicken and other deliciousness was heaven!! I didn’t ask for gf soy sauce but assume they have it if needed since some of the dishes have it. Not celiac but gluten runs through and it’s been 7 hours with zero problems so Go! Don’t walk, run!!
Went here with a party of 9, one of which was my 14 year old who’s been a diagnosed celiac for 10 years. He loved the GF sweet and sour chicken and they brought him out GF soy sauce too. He loved it! We live in Vancouver and we would gladly drive the 40 minutes to come back. My parents who don’t usually like Chinese food said their food was great and they were going to have to start coming there regularly.
My 10 year old son is diagnosed celiac a little over a year ago with high sensitivity to the smallest traces of gluten. Found this place on this app. Chinese food is a rare thing for celiac kids. We ordered the gluten free orange chicken and white rice lunch special. It came with egg drop soup. He absolutely loved it and had no issues with the food. I’d highly recommend this one place!
So delicious. They said about 80% of the menu could be made gluten free. Menu was clearly marked with gluten free items. Orange chicken was my favorite, it was crispy and flavorful. Also ordered the sesame and Beijing chicken. Sesame chicken didn’t really taste like sesame but it tasted really good. I wish I lived here so I could come every week!!
can be Celiac safe depending on how you order. They always give you a cookie and gluten filled sauce packets in to go orders. My last visit the cookie bag popped and got crumbs all over the food. They were very good about replacing the food but ever since I am concerned with how considerate the staff is during prep. I did not always mind the cookie as my husband enjoys them but he's going to have to live without if we decide to go back.
My daughter is reactive celiac. We eat here once or twice a month with no problems. Highly recommend. Just be careful the one short cleanup waitress that brings the check will give you fortune cookies instead of orange slices with your check.
I have celiacs and while I don't seem to be as sensitive as some people I have not had an issue with this place. I have eaten here twice now and no second day problems whatsoever. Their orange chicken is better than most of the ones I've eaten that have gluten. The breading is light and crisp and it tastes like orange because they use real oranges and peels. The salt and pepper shrimp is also incredible, as is their fried rice. I also recommend the sesame beef, it's awesome as leftovers. Their egg drop soup is bland, but nice with some tamari (gluten free soy sauce), which they have on hand. The staff is friendly and generally knowledgeable about what is and isn't gluten free and what can be modified to be gluten free. Great place, I highly recommend it.
not 100% gluten free so people with actual celiac sprue can not eat here. but for people just looking for GF option will be able to order options.
Lots of choices. Their menu must have changed from previous reviews. The sweet-and-sour chicken is no longer gluten-free. When I went to order the sesame chicken, which is gluten-free, the waiter informed me that sometimes people say that that particular chicken is tough. That didn't sound very good to me. So I ordered the gluten-free seasoned green beans and asked for some chicken to be put with it. It was delicious. My husband had the shrimp and chili sauce and he said that was delicious.
