Taco Gordo

Ordered at the counter and the staff was very knowledgeable about cross contact. They explained to me that the corn tacos are cooked on the same surface as the wheat burritos. The pork carnita is also prepped on a glutenized surface.

The deep fryer is gluten free so chips and crispy tostadas are safe as is the burrito bowl. The beef, chicken tinga, al pastor, and beans as well as the rice and salsas are gluten free.

Update on Covid: ask for your corn tortillas to be heated up separately- due to the take out methods there is a risk for cross-contamination. SUPER accommodating, still my fav restaurant in all of Burlington!

Best Mexican and mostly everything is GF!! Chips are safe!

Celiac friendly?

I just ordered delivery and I indicated I gave celiac on the delivery form and they called me to inform me they are currently cooking all tortillas on the flattop, both corn and flour. I don’t know if this is a change for COVID19 and I appreciate them calling me to inform me but I got excited after seeing all the reviews here so I suggest calling first to check before ordering.

Very knowledgeable and conscientious for celiac customers eating at their restaurant. Food ia delicious! Fast, pleasant service.

Great tacos. No food on the entire menu currently has gluten. Occasionally they have fish tacos that have gluten, but nothing else. If there are fish tacos they recommend making a bowl instead of getting a taco shell. They know their stuff!
