Got the chips, salsa and guacamole along with the shrimp rice bowl. Nothing on menu labeled GF, just ask the server. Ours was aware of celiac and explained how they would grill the sprinp separate instead of frying, she wrote down allergy. Food did not come out with flag, but I didn’t feel sick.
Went with a group of people. 3 in my family are gluten free (2 teenagers with celiac). Everything was very good. Chips are made in dedicated frier.
No gluten free menu, but staff is very educated! Pretty much everything they serve is gluten free with the exception of a few sauces, flour tortillas and tortilla strips. The chips and salsa that they bring to the table are gluten free. I’m very sensitive and did not get sick, highly recommend!
The chips that were brought to the table the moment we sat, were verified to be GF and the salsa that came with it was the best part of the meal. The guacamole was pretty good too. As an entrée I ordered the A La Plancha bowl which consists of: black beans, pico de gallo, green chile sauce, crema, cilantro, scallions & crispy tortilla strips with Carne Asada. It was good. I have not gotten sick yet and I agree four hours ago. There's no GF menu but I was assured by three different staff members that most of their food is GF. Our waiter ensured my food was safe for me. I'm not celiac but highly reactive.
The waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten free options on the menu, even double checked with the kitchen. They ask if you have any allergies before ordering. The tacos were great! They did explain which tacos (items in the taco) were not gluten free. Did not get sick after eating.
On top of just being a cool place right on an inlet where you can sit outside and watch boats go by…. Waitress was so nice and helpful. She let me know any taco could be made with a corn tortilla so it would be safe. She also said Their chips are air fried so no shared fryer to worry about! I didn’t ask about the queso because I wasn’t getting any. Overall a really great experience.
