I attempted to order from Tavo Pedalar after getting Celiac diagnosis and they informed me over the phone that they wouldn't be able prevent cross contamination due to flour tortillas. This was the Broadway location.

Celiac friendly?

No

Definitely a safe place to eat for me (allergic and contamination sensitive). Their serving sizes are small (think tapas sizes). Very tasty!

Definitely celiac safe! Very tasty food as well! Staff knows a lot about celiacs and will cook your food in a different pan to avoid cross contamination. The staff member I talked to yesterday said that he wouldn’t recommend getting anything fried if you are very sensitive because people sometimes make special requests so it is possible a flour tortilla was in the fryer at some point.

Great tacos! Most of the menu is safe except for a couple items with flour tortillas and the quesadillas (the sauce they use on those has bee in it). Menu is well marked and staff are knowledgeable.
