I ate here the other day and explained I had a gluten allergy and then my meal came out (a chicken bowl) with deep fried rice on it that had cross contamination. When I explained I had an allergy (again) the gentleman told me an allergy wasn’t serious and that I need to tell them that I’m celiac. I find this isn’t the first time eating at a tacofino when they’ve explained my own allergy to me. BUT good to know. I find I’m on edge eating at tacofino since there is SO much flour in the joint and Tight kitchens. And I’ve sent back food a number of times because they’ve put deep fried items on it (deep fried cauliflower). Yesterday, they did bring me back a bowl after of 5 small pieces of chicken on a bed of cabbage, so not really enough food for a meal.

It’s good food; fresh, and unique, but risky for celiacs. I won’t risk anymore, unfortunately.
