Review

We came during a slow time, which was good because there was time to ask questions. I wasn't confident I could avoid cross-contamination with the tortillas, but I was eyeing the nachos. When I asked what went in the cheese sauce, milk and butter were named, but no thickner was mentioned, so I had a pretty good idea they made a roux with flour and just forgot to tell me about the flour. Corn starch is much less common. However, the chips are not fried in house so I was able to look at the ingredient list on the box and verify that they were safe. I ended up just eating chips and salsa. It wasn't particularly tasty, but the staff was incredibly nice. They were young and definitely trying their best and don't fault them. Little shops like this should just keep a notebook with ingredient lists for their products so staff have an easy way to double check what is in something. I wish the owners had provided better tools for these sweet staff people.
