I wanted to love this place cause they are wonderful employees and the most delicious looking food, but sadly was a cross contamination fail. The rating is solely based on what I feel isn't safe for celiacs. I ordered chicken/carnitas/barbacoa tacos and a side of Mexican rice. I asked what was GF (and it was very clearly marked in my receipt) - she warned me the tortilla chips are in a shared fryer. I also ordered a quesadilla for someone else in my group and the chef came out to tell me it could not be made GF, which I knew but made the mistake of saying 'it's all gluten free' - he was very kind and accommodating. Unfortunately when I got home I tested the tacos and the rice separately with my Nima Tester and both showed 'gluten found'. I wasn't able to eat it but the others on my group said they were delicious, and the place was busy! I think it was just a cross contamination issue on the griddle because they don't appear to have much gluten in general. Bummer but safe then sorry.

Food was great! I had the nachos and they were really good. I didn’t get sick at all. One of the owners there was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and was able to help me easily find something that would be safe. Lots of options here.

I had a great experience here! The food was delicious and almost everything on the menu is gluten free. I would totally go again. Even someone (the manager or the owner) walked by to check on us and how we were enjoying our meal.
