Only the manager has any knowledge of their gf options. The servers obviously need training...twice I've been there and the servers had to consult the mgr about gf menu options/sauces on their meat. Our server today had no idea what had gluten or what gluten even was...she asked if I could have the cheese that came on my salad then later asked if I could have the beans that came on the salad...Tahoe Joe's has no gf salad dressing so I had to ask for oil/vinegar to be brought with my salad both times. I'm not going back...it's too exhausting!

Decent meal. Ask for the GF menu. I had a grilled chicken breast (no sauce), steamed broccoli, and plain baked potato. The chicken was very tender and had a nice smoky aftertaste. Be sure the waitstaff knows not to add any sauce on grilled meat. I wouldn’t say the staff is knowledgeable about gluten but the “menu” they have is a guide for staff. It is pretty thorough with foods and condiments that are not safe.

Delicious food. Unfortunately, when we called ahead to check we were reassured that the kitchen was safe; when we arrived we found the staff uninformed and wrong. The wait person tried to tell us that some people say sourdough is gluten free. Anyway, regardless of what they think they are not aware enough to serve celiacs. My intense stomach pains tell me my food was cross contaminated.
