Went here after getting to our hotel late at night. Asked our first bartender about a GF menu. She didn’t really know what gluten was, so I decided to have a “liquid dinner”.
Had another bartender ask if we were eating. Asked if they had any GF apps. This guy admitted he did not know, but took great initiative and offered to grab the sous chef. This is where the night turned.
The sous chef came out and asked me to explain celiacs to him, so I did. He showed genuine concern and had a real servant’s heart. He said he keeps separate cookware just for special requests like mine.
He whipped up the best smothered chicken I’ve ever had. All this is to say, this place *can* produce a delicious celiac approved meal. Just proceed with caution as they don’t have training or procedures in place.
