We went to Taj Mahal based on FMGF reviews while visiting Pittsburgh. We ate at the lunch buffet, where signage included not only GF notes, but also if nuts, dairy, and other potential allergens were present in dishes. There was a generous selection of dishes and it was easy to choose GF items. We didn’t order anything beyond the buffet, but that option was offered when we came in. The food was tasty and not *too* spicy. I especially liked the palak paneer, which had spinach pieces rather than spinach puréed into mush.

I love eating here! They have a fryer dedicated to their gluten free fried foods. Amazing. Food is spectacular and the servers are knowledgeable and will ask if need be! Highly recommend.

Ordered takeout. I stuck to items marked gluten free (not all GF items are). No gluten issues. Food is solid.

Eaten here many times. Buffet worth the price.

Most food is labeled GF, and staff is helpful if it is not. Food is yummy and I've never gotten sick after eating here.

My celiac son had not gotten sick here. Some items are labeled gluten free on the buffet. If you ask, the owner will gladly show you which items are gluten free. It's best to be there just as the restaurant opens for lunch if you are planning to eat from the buffet.
