I’m not sure why people are rating this place high… the server said there wasn’t a gluten free menu. The “crab” was imitation crab meaning it wasn’t gluten free. The sushi was not very tasty. The only thing gluten free about this place was the soy sauce which the server didn’t know about.
The server was not well informed as to what was and wasn’t gluten free, and wasn’t interested in checking. Wasn’t sure if sushi rice was gluten free, and wasn’t sure if their wasabi was real or artificial, but at least they had bottles of gluten free soy sauce.
I ended up with Edamame and Sashimi. It was ok, but overall disappointing.
Nervous about going here due to the few gluten free reviews I could find. The owner seemed to be very passionate about understanding Celiac, so I decided to try it. Wait staff was not very knowledgeable about the menu, but went above and beyond checking food labels for me. She was also very honest about ingredients she wasn't sure about, so that I could research them on my own. I ate here very happily and did not get sick.
