Review of Talia's Eatery

This was a super disappointing experience. After having read the positive celiac-safe reviews on yelp and this app, we went out of our way to come for a safe meal. The waitress was nice, but PAiNfULLy ignorant. After assuring us they understand cross contact, she told us they use a shared toaster for everything- and they’ve never had any problems with this for other celiacs! Anyone who understands celiac disease knows that that’s more than enough to make us sick- and she said SHE HERSELF had celiac! She didn’t seem to understand that even if you don’t have symptoms, you’re doing damage to your intestinal lining. We left, still hungry. Don’t come here if you take celiac disease seriously.
