They did a great job, used a new pan for our breakfast and made sure things were handled appropriately. The waitress knew what celiac was and how important it is for cross contamination.

i got glutened here. i ordered gluten free pasta, confirmed on the phone that i have celiac and was assured i would be taken care of multiple times. my pasta had BARLEY in it. which makes absolutely no sense. it wasn’t apart of the dish and should be no where near it. it’s obvious no care was taken for cross contamination, and i’m debating whether or not it was intentional honestly. terrible experience.. i’m feeling symptomatic, definitely got glutened and waiting to see how sick i’m going to get for consuming a gluten grain. seems the whole thing could have been avoided. do not eat here if you have celiac.

Poor quality food and found multiple pieces of barley in a supposed gluten free/ celiac safe dish. Would not recommend eating here completely unsafe.
The food was pretty good, though it is pretty overpriced in my opinion. I got the GF alfredo with chicken and that was $28. I don’t think I got glutened, but I had some of the worst stomach cramps and bowel issues a couple hours after eating there. I’m not sure if they are related though! Overall, pretty good food, but very pricey for the quality.

Fantastic service, waitress was very careful about taking my order correctly. Menu changes regularly but it seems like the kind of place where they would always have something GF. Would recommend.

We did the indecision menu and it was the best decision we made this trip. Everything was amazing. We just told the server we wanted it all gluten free and he said no problem, and it wasn't a problem at all. Without question will come back! Our server was extremely knowledgeable and I felt very safe putting my meal in their hands. I had no reactions to anything we were given and it all tasted like a 5 star restaurant.

I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with our experience at Tally’s. My wife has celiac disease and our waiter made excellent recommendations. He was very knowledgeable about the gluten free options and double checked with the kitchen after he put our orders in to make sure her meal was prepared safely. We had the boar and the blasphemous pig. They were amazing! I had to think back at when the last time I had something this good and it was double the cost. We didn’t need salt or pepper at the table, everything was seasoned perfectly. If this restaurant were where we live in the Chicago suburbs there would be a waiting list to get reservations. We are going back one more time before we leave Rapid City, what a gem!

My husband and I had delicious food here! The menu isn’t marked but the serving staff can answer questions or will check with the kitchen. Both of our dishes were naturally GF and DF and so good. We wish we had bigger appetites because there were many tasty looking appetizers and starter courses. They do carry GF rice pasta and offer a vegan cheese sauce. Highly recommend!

This place is a bit over hyped. I would say there breakfast is probably the best for gluten free options. But other than that, you don’t have many options.

We went here because of all the great reviews and we were very disappointed. The server did not seem knowledgeable about GF. The menu is not clear about GF, just that GF ordering adds $4. My husband ordered a GF burger - they do not have GF buns. Their fries are not GF and his side options were salad, cottage cheese, or bread. The burger came out with fries and the server said they were not GF but they "just put them on the plate" and tried to just take them off. I asked if the burger was GF and she said "the meat? Yes". No concept of possible cross contamination. My husband elected to just not eat rather than be sick because they were not careful at all. Would not recommend for anyone who actually has a gluten allergy. If you are GF by choice and don't mind cross contamination this is the place for you. Also, on the service side of things, the server apologized but no one else ever came to our table to talk to my husband about his food. Overall a very poor experience.

We made our reservation, and noted that we were both celiac. Waiter was very knowledgeable on what was gluten free. Service was great, food tasted good. Very sick (gluten side effects) the next day. On the day that we ate there, we made breakfest and lunch with ingredients we had both eaten before with no ill effects.

My wife has Celiac and I’m always looking for places where a salad isn’t her only option. The reviews for Talley’s gave me hope that this was such a place. It was NOT! I called early in the day to see if I needed a reservation - I was told no as they wouldn’t be busy. We got there and we’re told they couldn’t seat us for 2.5hrs because he had no reservation! I complained & they sat us outside. The waitress knew very little about the menu or specials and couldn’t even pronounce several of the items! There was no gluten free menu & they had no gluten-free buns for their burgers. We asked the waitress to let the kitchen know she had Celiac & to be careful. She ordered a burger on gluten-free bread but we’re suspect as to how it had been toasted. About an hour after dinner it seemed highly likely she had been “glutened” as we put it. It was a terrible experience from start to finish.

Kaleb was our waiter- very knowledgeable about gluten free. My one daughter is gluten free for celiac and my other daughter is non-celiac. They both ordered the Alfredo pasta. One with linguine and the other with gluten free pasta. No mess ups!! Made sure and promised no issues and delivered! The owner is celiac. Was so nice!

We were in Rapid City for the day and chose Tally’s for lunch. My 4 year old son loved his GF waffle and his French fries. Fries are cooked in shares fryer by default but they offered to fry separately. The carbonara pasta dish I ordered GF came out with gorgeous glutinous pasta and I caught the mistake before I took a bite. They remade it and while it had good taste, was an extremely heavy sauce. My husband chose the meat lovers breakfast with Udi’s toast and had a great meal. If we could do it over, I’d get a burger instead of the pasta!

My daughter ordered pancakes with ice cream but they were unfortunately out of GF pancake batter. She had a bagel instead and the server was impressed that she didn’t get too bummed and brought her out some ice cream on the house. So he scored some major points with us. I had a bagel sandwich which was yummy. My husband and son also enjoyed their non-GF meals.

I called once and had all my questions thoroughly answered. I called back to place an order with a Celiac note and the guy seemed to have no idea what was GF. I ordered a one egg breakfast and arrived to find that there was no Celiac note on the receipt, so I asked to confirm and the owner came out to reassure me that it was Celiac friendly. The place was packed so it felt chaotic. Food was fine, nothing special.

Being from out of town. We tried because several others raved about it so we took a chance. The GF pasta was wonderful my bison/beef bolonase was wonderful. My son had the Vegan Alfredo which was also very good. These to Celiac customers had a wonderful dinner at a great price. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I came to Tally’s the beginning of restaurant week. This was my first time out after my celiac diagnosis. The waiter was very patient and found answers for my questions. That night I had the indecision courses and everything was gluten free and cooked in the same area and was not cross contaminated. I had no reaction.

Two of my kids had a cheeseburger on gluten free bread and one had gluten free pasta with Alfredo sauce and chicken. They loved it! They cannot do fries because the oil is contaminated, but have a salad for a side item. Definitely recommend this place.

We came here on vacation and are so glad we tried this place! Our waiter has celiac too so he was knowledgeable about my sons needs. He was so kind and the food was great!!
Very good — on the recommendations of others reviews I got the bison mushroom Marsala pasta. The meat and sauce were delicious. The pasta was average, but I usually don’t eat gf pasta because I’ve never trusted the cooking process at most restaurants. So it might have been ok and just not to my liking. I didn’t get sick so that was good. Cute restaurant

Very celiac friendly!! The first breakfast out I’ve had in almost two years 😭 definitely recommend. They have a breakfast lunch and dinner menu. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about celiac, one staff member even has it! You can’t go wrong going here. The food is so delicious I would come here every day.

Very, very celiac friendly. Pancakes and syrup are safe, bread for sandwiches are toasted separately, meal is prepared in a separate pan, all salad dressings are gluten free. I had the Roasted Red Pepper beef sandwich with aioli and all, a side salad with ranch, and no reactions. So good.

Had a server with Celiac which was very helpful! He said omlettes have the lowest cross contact for breakfast. They offer GF waffles, pancakes and toast with breakfast and have GF pasta. Server said most dinner entrees are not GF but the pasta and burgers are options.

I was so nervous to eat here, even with all the good reviews! I am such a sensitive celiac, and I did not want to get sick while on vacation, but it was great! I had the bison Marsala and it was absolutely delicious. 24 hours later, no sickness!

Wow! So good! I got gluten free pasta with carbonara sauce. Ask for Drew to be your waiter. He is very knowledgeable and the nicest person. They also have gluten free pancakes, waffles, French toast, bread for sandwiches.
