The staff were very cautious when serving me and took the time to double check all items were GF. The risotto was amazing, highly recommend for someone with celiacs in okemos looking for a nicer meal!

Many gf options are clearly labeled. The Brussels sprouts are fried in a common fryer, so we opted for the beat salad. The chicken Marsala was not my favorite, but the flourless chocolate cake was to. die. for! Great for a date night.

I have been to Tannin on multiple occasions and the chef is very knowledgeable of his ingredients and kitchen space. I have never once gotten sick and the chef has been able to modify many menu items to make them gluten-free if asked. The menu also has information on what items are gluten-free. On top of that, the food is outstanding and I consider it one of the best restaurants in the Lansing area. The shrimp and polenta, scallops, lamb lollipops, mushroom risotto, Gouda and apple gratin (!!!) and creme brulee are just some of my favorite.
