This is a favourite spot for a nice dinner out. We love that many of the dishes are naturally gluten free and servers are knowledgeable. Great atmosphere, service is always great and the food is tasty. We love the calamari. Be sure to save room for cheesecake after your main.

Good GF options. Service was mediocre and it was very crowded. We had the coconut prawns (amazing), papas bravas (also amazing), and Pollo Armada (mediocre). I think it is pretty overpriced.

Awesome tapas! Tons of gluten free options, really easy to get a bunch of plates to share among people. The tostada is particularly good, and the servers are knowledgeable on what can and can't be included. Great atmosphere and delicious food! A fast favourite in the city.

Great food, fairly quick service. The server was knowledgable and able to tell me all the accommodations to make dishes gluten free. Would recommend!

The deep fryer is gluten free.

*The Fish Tostada was heavily marinated, a very rich dish as salmon is in season. *Didn’t enjoy the breaded Calamari Fritos, they were heavy and the tzatziki sauce was too thick. A choice of tzatziki or salsa Verde is on the menu but the server didn’t ask our preference. *Marinated Portobello Mushrooms were good but too much marinade and the included spring mix lettuce wasn’t fresh. *It was a Monday night in the downtown core so drunk tourists at the next table we’re provided no charge. * Sat on the patio and the heater made it way way too hot.

Wish I could give a different review, but this was my experience.

Tapa bar has an expansive GF selection, delicious small plates, and a GF fryer (confirmed by a family member working in the kitchen). I’ve eaten here a number of times—great experience!

10/10. Server was knowledgable and plenty of items on the menu marked GF. I had the mussels with rice, papas bravas, chili relleno and did not get sick and I’m VERY sensitive. Food was delicious.

One of my favourite Celiac safe restaurant options in Victoria. While they used to have a shared fryer, when I went this weekend I was told that they had changed the menu and now have a dedicated fryer! This opens up even more great options at this restaurant! If you are looking for a nice restaurant with great food and drinks, this is a wonderful option!

Beautiful dinner here. A full GF menu. Our server was knowledgeable. They do have a shared fryer and a shared grill, so be aware of that when ordering to ensure your food isn’t cooked where gluten items are! (Eg. grilled kale). I had no reaction and am very sensitive (had a salad, 2 prawn dishes, rice, and olives).

I ordered a gf Cubanette Con Pollo. Although the menu indicated it can with melted mozzarella, there was none. It was satisfying as a meal. Those who could eat gluten found the food unique and tasty.

Ate a delicious meal here, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I felt confident eating what they suggested for me. My favourite dish, the coconut shrimp, is GF! They were careful about cross contamination, and I never got ill. They have a really nice wine selection and a great atmosphere. One of my favourite places to eat in Victoria.
