Oh my word! This is the best place. Everything in the menu is GF and the flavors are outstanding. The portions are great for sharing so you can try as many tapas as you desire! I wish we had a place like this on the east coast. When in Colorado Springs, check out TAPATERIA. You will not be disappointed
What an amazing experience! Traveling with family and have high risk to any cross contamination. What a delight to find a completely gluten free restaurant/ menu full of a variety of great food. Very friendly staff and great kitchen team. Kudos to the owners for recognizing the need for more restaurants that allow for fear-free dining for some many of us! My only complaint is that they need to revise their choice of liquor. Vodka was not gluten free (given all the options this should be an easy fix). Was not worried about drinks - just thought I would check for others. A definite must stop if you are anywhere near Colorado Springs! Suggest calling and getting a reservation - quaint little restaurant and can get very, very busy. On a Monday night - there was a wait for a table.
I went here because of all your great reviews. I had very high expectations. Very comfortable, inviting place. First it was absolutely celiac friendly as all items were GF. However, the food as a whole was not very good. Every dish was missing something when it comes to flavor. The cooks were extremely young and inexperienced. This place would have great potential if there was more supervision to quality of their food.
I have a lot of food allergies. Staff was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. We ordered 9 plates and the staff made sure to let us know which one so could eat. The food was amazing. Mushroom toast was my favorite. Everything is gluten free.
Great food, great experience. All the food is gluten-free and it was magical to not have to second guess kitchen prep, as the entire facility is gf, too. The staff was so friendly, and we enjoyed our meal! Highly recommend the wrapped dates, grilled shrimp, garlic bulb! The charcuterie portion was so generous (also delicious).
100% gluten free and the food is really good. Traditional and creative tapas - lots of variety. I have celiac, the rest of my family does not, and everyone enjoyed the meal. It was really nice to be able to share tapas without worrying about cross contamination. We’ll be back!
Exclusively gluten-free tapas restaurant with so many options. Inexpensive, casual, local gem with excellent service. Enjoyed the Patatas Bravas, Grilled Garlic Shrimp, Tuna Carpaccio Salad, and more. Breads supplied by local gf bakery Outside the Breadbox. Thanks to Find Me Gluten Free for turning me on nto this place. It made me so happy to get to eat here.
I️m severely allergic to gluten and asked about gluten right away. The waitress said that the entire menu is gluten free! Even the bread and crackers! It’s not advertised as a gluten free business, but it is. Fantastic food and drinks! We had at least 8 of the tapas between 3 of us. Highly recommend.
Love the atmosphere and the food. Dining out in their "Al Fresco" courtyard is so relaxing--like a mini vacation! I feel lucky to live in a town that has two dedicated gf restaurants. They do carry standard beer options for those who do not have dietary restrictions.
100% dedicated gluten free! My daughter and I have Celiac. Nice patio out back when weather is nice. We ordered Bison Carpaccio Cheese & Charcuterie Plate And beef sliders For dessert we had their "creme brûlée" a caramel gelato (locally made) and a chocolate bread pudding with cayenne. Superb!!!!
Our waitress at Coquette's Bistro recommended TAPAteria, and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was wonderful and was gluten free so I could try whatever looked good to me. I did have some mild stomach issues later that night, but it could have been because I was sharing items with my husband, who had a beer while we waited for our table. I'd definitely be willing to go back and test my theory.
Almost completely gf restaurant. A couple of the deserts aren't but they warn you about them. It's a great place to get a light meal and have a glass of wine. Local place with great tasting food and nice atmosphere. I agree with the previous review that it would be a lil pricey to get full meal..
