The first thing I asked the waitress was what was gluten free. She seemed a little confused, so I asked if their was any flour in the chicken fajitas with rice and beans. She first said there was no flour in any of it, just seasonings. Then when I asked about the chicken base for the rice, and that I would like to see the container from the seasonings, she said she would just check for me. She then told me that there's wheat in the rice, as I suspected and the chicken came preseasoned with wheat in it! She said I could have the El Pastor taco, which I took a chance and had... Will know by tomorrow. We also had chips and guacamole which was delicious. The corn in the Cobb was alright, but not at all like the corn in the Midwest. It was mealy feeling. The horchata was delicious and hopefully safe, according to her. In general, I would come again, but use caution.

The food was DELICIOUS but when I mentioned I had a gluten allergy my waitress immediately got concerned and said they couldn’t make anything truly gluten free. I took the chance and got tacos on a corn tortilla (which tasted amazing) and I haven’t felt sick after 24 hours (I’m usually very sensitive to cross contamination) but I would take caution eating here if you’re celiac.

I went here very hopeful as a previous review said almost everything was naturally gluten free, but when I went myself they told me there was only one thing I could get, the nopales tacos. So I’m under the impression that depending who you speak to you’ll get a different answer. They were good don’t get me wrong, I was just hoping to get more than a couple small tacos, at least hoping for some sides

Almost everything is corn based, so most food is gluten free! I didn't ask about the fryer for the fries, but I went there twice in two days and it was delicious both times! I had tacos the first night and enchiladas the second night. Their corn tortillas are really good!
(It's authentic Mexican food, so it's a little spicy, but you can choose your spice level with the taco toppings they bring to the table)
