The good news is that this is a lovely little place with fantastic staff. I had emailed ahead of time to double check it would be suitable for my coeliac daughter and received a very thorough and reassuring reply from Emma, who also said to ask for Gabriel when we visited, which we did. He was extremely friendly and welcoming and a great front of house. The food was all gluten free but actually a little underwhelming. Tasted fine but we didn't think it was that good value. Certainly a lovely, safe spot to head to if you are coeliac/gluten intolerant but we weren't wowed.

such a lovely experience, the man who served us was so so kind (my partner was given a slice of cake for free!). Everything on the menu was gluten free and delish, would 100% go back :)

Amazing Mexican food, we’re so glad we stopped here! The owner knew all about gluten free and we got to enjoy our lunch safety. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Brighton!

I am not gluten free but a few of my friends are, so we have to curate the places we go to eat quite carefully. In Casa Azul they make their meals with corn tortillas, and you can choose from a wide array of taco fillings, including vegan and vegetarian options. You can get a side of rice and refried beans which is really delicious and filling. Also, as a Mexican I can say: very authentic, and tastes of home!
I’ve worked my way around the menu now (I really recommend the oyster mushroom tacos), and look forward to going there again!
Yes
Most of the menu is Gluten Free! Not even on purpose but just purely down to the fact that it's all authentic and uses corn tortillas instead of flour! Friendly for all and doesn't leave you feeling overly full or bloated- perfectly satisfied!
Yes
Authentic Mexican food! They have vegan and vegetarian options and all of the tacos are served on gluten free corn tortillas.
