Taste of Belgium - The Banks

Delicious food. Mind blowingly good. But concerning safety issues. The fries were marked as gluten free but prepared in a shared fryer. Waitress did not seem knowledgeable, nor did she seem to understand why I was concerned about the situation with the fries.

This place, like other Taste of Belgium restaurants, has galettes and a few other GF dishes as well as dessert. They do prepare them in the same space as non-GF items, though, which is why they flag them as "gluten friendly" rather than GF. The server pointed this out to ne and seemed knowledgeable about gluten intolerance. For me it was fine. Might not work for celiacs, though. I had a decent galette and a cider here.
