First off, they are not a dedicated GF restaurant so please keep that in mind. They do have GF options clearly labeled on the menu items & a sign asking you to inform the staff of any allergies. But as with any non dedicated place, cross contamination is an issue. I went right before Christmas so they were very busy. I told the cashier that I needed my order with corn tortillas to make GF (just as the menu stated). She didn’t respond. So I repeated that I needed it gluten free & again she didn’t respond. So I asked if she had heard me & she said yes. That was it. She was not rude & they were obviously very busy. But I did end up getting sick after. The food always tastes good at Red Iguana but I would avoid this location if you are a celiac or very sensitive.
