Papadum is my go-to while my tablemates cram their faces with naan. This was a generous serving, fresh and crispy, and came with both cilantro relish (spicy) and tamarind (thick and just sweet enough).
I come here probably once a week. The manager is super helpful and you can eat almost anything under the meat/seafood section and a good amount under vegetarian. Aloo chaat is my favorite appetizer and i change up my meal all the time. It's pretty self explanatory imo!
I have been going to Taste of Tandoor weekly for years. I am both gluten free and vegan, and the owner (Dave) is very helpful, as well are the other workers. You just might have to be a bit clear with what you are asking because there can be a language barrier with some of the servers.
There is a ton you can eat that is gluten-free. Papadam (lentil crackers), pakora (made with chickpea flour), most of the dishes.
Just stay away from the naan/roti/samosas.
