Papadum is my go-to while my tablemates cram their faces with naan. This was a generous serving, fresh and crispy, and came with both cilantro relish (spicy) and tamarind (thick and just sweet enough).
They are great at preparing meals that are safe. I eat there often and haven’t gotten any cross-contamination or anything. It may take a bit longer for your food, they prepare it on the spot, but it’s worth the wait.
Yes
Very good food. Great service. Almost everything is gluten free.
I come here probably once a week. The manager is super helpful and you can eat almost anything under the meat/seafood section and a good amount under vegetarian. Aloo chaat is my favorite appetizer and i change up my meal all the time. It's pretty self explanatory imo!
I have been going to Taste of Tandoor weekly for years. I am both gluten free and vegan, and the owner (Dave) is very helpful, as well are the other workers. You just might have to be a bit clear with what you are asking because there can be a language barrier with some of the servers.
There is a ton you can eat that is gluten-free. Papadam (lentil crackers), pakora (made with chickpea flour), most of the dishes.
Just stay away from the naan/roti/samosas.
We spoke to the manager and he had absolutely zero idea of what gluten was. He was willing however, to assure us that there was nothing on his menu that was gluten free. I have no idea how this restaurant made it on this app but this was obviously an error.
