Gf yogurt and granola is pretty tasty. On the menu it is called Muesli. I don’t eat eggs so I cannot comment on most of the gf menu but it’s a page long and has salads too.

Was excited to see that they had some gf muffins, tea cakes and other baked goods but the staff member placed my cake in the same bag as my friends croissant…. Not confident in their practices at all and not safe for celiacs.

We had breakfast at Tatte two mornings in a row. The first morning I got their breakfast sandwich. I also picked up an oatmeal raisin cookie (sooo good) and a strawberry vanilla cloud to share with our table. The strawberry vanilla cloud had a surprising vanilla cream inside the meringue. I wish it had a bit more strawberry flavor.
They also have some dessert cakes, muffins and brownies that were gluten friendly.
The second morning I went and ordered a spinach and goat cheese scramble - gluten free. It comes with gluten free toast. This time the person who checked me out let me know they couldn’t guarantee cross contamination - which wasn’t mentioned the first morning. Luckily I didn’t get sick the first morning so I decided to go with the scramble and I didn’t get sick the second morning either. But I’m also not celiac.
So far everything I have tried from them has been amazingly delicious!

I came here twice in one day and a total of 4 times in my short DC trip. They have so many GF dessert options and can make their breakfast sandwiches on GF bread. I got their classic breakfast sandwich and it was so good! I also tried their tea cakes, strawberry and pistachio. Both were lovely! I wasn’t a fan of the chocolate muffin. It tastes like it had raisins or apples in it, something about it didn’t work for me. I didn’t eat it all. I got the chocolate mousse cake. AMAZING!! I had such a hard time deciding because everything looked incredible. There were 6-7 GF options for dessert alone, almost half the case was GF! I will say that some of the GF items were stacked on the same display plates as non-GF items, I chose not to get those items because they were clearly cross contaminated. But I only saw one GF item like that. I have a pretty significant gluten intolerance and had no reaction eating here. I will 100% always come back when in DC. Plus their coffee is really great too. 10/10!

They have gluten free items in the same display case as items that contain gluten. Sometimes they’re even touching. Cross contamination is a huge issue and they don’t understand the basics at all.

My daughter and I had a great experience here. She had the short rib grilled cheese sandwich and said it was the best sandwich she ever had. I had the chicken salad on GF bread and it was excellent too. She had a lemon tart and I had a pistachio one. Both were excellent. I am a sensitive celiac and did not get sick. I highly recommend.
