Ho mangiato molto bene. I piatti GF dono ottimi. Classica taverna greca. Proprietario gentile e preparato. Parla anche un po' italiano. Prezzi onedti. Consiglio.

Traditional food, not much variety on the menu but most were GF! Also really good retsina wine and honey raki. The portions were not really big, so I reccomend to get a starter and a main course (in most restaurants in Malia only a main course is plenty). Lovely atmosphere, very kind staff and they know about gluten very well.

Taverna Eva was a hit - we went there twice for dinner over our 4 night stay. The menu has lots of GF items including delicious deep fried calamari. They were happily able to make us GF cheesy garlic bread and all our meals were wonderful. The service is awesome and we left feeling we were saying bye to old friends. It’s a little walk off the main strip but worth it!

Taverna Eva is an incredible restaurant for gluten-free food! Options were clearly marked on the menu, and the staff were really friendly and knowledgable about gluten free - they spoke to me about coeliac disease and made me feel really comfortable and confident. Plus, the restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the people were so friendly. The restaurant is easy to get to, near Malia but on a quiet street tucked away. Highly recommend visiting for gluten free food!
