FYI I don't get GI symptoms, so I can't be sure there wasn't cross contamination. That being said, the waiter was familiar with gluten intolerance (he spoke English, and I had a card in Albanian explaining celiac disease).
The menu is essentially all seafood. We did get side salads, which were 2/3 tomatoes. I had steamed mussels, which were great. We found our waiter to be fairly rude (maybe it was something that we did, who knows), which was counter to all our other experiences with Albania. There were no other women in the restaurant at the time, so my sister and I did feel very out of place. Overall, the food seemed safe and was tasty, but our experience wasn't good.
