We have gone several times and I have never gotten sick afterwards. They don’t have a dedicated gluten free menu but there are several things that I’ve ordered and were delicious!

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

We are highly sensitive to gluten and yet have been eating at Taxco for nearly 20 years with no issues. It is our absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the Lake Norman area per the high quality ingredients, fresh taste, wide variety, and the staff’s careful attention to detail.

— Excellent

We ordered take out. They do not have a gluten free menu but I can usually order fajitas with corn tortillas or no tortillas so that's what I did. The person taking the order was guessing about which items were gluten free and didn't know about others (but was too busy to check). Probably not a safe bet.
