Great food! I avoid gluten and dairy and had the special which was lobster with pasta in a very light red sauce (cooked down cherry tomatoes, etc perhaps?). Simple ingredients, phenomenal taste! They brought out a gf bun as well so I could sop up some olive oil and balsamic just like my non-gf family! They can do gf pasta with pretty much any of their sauces. If you avoid dairy as well that narrows things down more, as I'm sure you know, but there is still much to choose from and the quality was really great, as was the service!
Wonderful dinner! Our first night in Rome, we went to dinner here (close to our hotel). The owner is gluten intolerant, so very thoughtful and helpful with the menu- even though not marked. The appetizers were amazing (Bresola with rocket, citrus cured salmon and octopus with potatoes). We then had a few different pasta which they provided GF and ensured it was cooked separately. The ragu was the favorite. A very enjoyable evening. We will likely go back before we leave Rome.
This place is so good! Their gluten free pasta is the best I’ve ever had! It tastes like the real thing… so much so I asked to see the package so I could get some to take home. Lovely family run business. They can make almost everything gluten free. We came here two nights in a row! If you are Celiac this is a must stop when in Rome.
Gluten free pasta, only a few types of pasta but can have it with any sauce. i ordered the spaghetti meatballs thinking it was gluten free but the waiter came back and told me the meatballs had gluten in them. thankfully he checked because i didn’t even think to ask about the meatballs (silly on my behalf). we quickly changed what i ordered and there were no other problems. they were very helpful and told me what i could/couldn’t eat. always ask to be safe but they were very on top of everything to make everything gluten free for me. they even gave me a gluten free roll that came in its own packet so i knew it was 100% gluten free. My husband and i ended up going there twice because it was so amazing, a bit pricey if you get more than one course but worth it after a full day of walking around.
