I was pleasantly surprised by this place! We were looking for something to eat before going to Teeling’s Distillery and this was literally the only place that was open nearby. The menu is labeled with everything that contains gluten, which was a fair amount, but the bartender was super knowledgeable and said the owner of the connected hotel’s wife has celiac so they’re very invested in providing gluten free options. Nearly everything could be made gluten free including the French onion soup and seafood chowder. They usually have gluten free peroni. No gf buns for burgers. They do have a separate fryer in which they make their gluten free fish and chips!
Ordered a burger no bun - do not have a gf menu food was honestly bad
I went with my family, following the recommendations and comments and ended up very disappointed. They don’t have fish and chips because they use the same oil for everything (that’s what I was looking for), just a couple of things in the menu where without gluten and one of their recommendations (a chicken curry pie) was also not gluten free friendly. I asked three times if the “pie” was gluten free, the waiter told me yes and then I got a chicken curry with a bread on the top (not for celiacs). So I don’t think this place is a gluten free friendly now
Fantastic. I am gluten free and Sean at the bar took great care of me. The Fish and Chips were tremendous. Light and crisp. The Old Fashioned, crafted with Teeling Irish Whiskey, was beautiful. Really inspired. The drink was created by Nemanja and he truly is a master mixologist. Hats off.
