They do have a gluten free menu with good options but they make it clear that the grill is a shared grill. The food was tasty (I ordered a chicken dish and pickled greens). The atmosphere and service was great. It's very popular so it's best to make a reservation.

Was please with this one - clear warning about shared grill showed they understood. Mayonnaise has soy sauce in but I had to ask so luckily it wasn’t put on my dish. Very loud. Full of westerners.

They didn’t have GF noodles available when I visited. I’m sure it wiener been great, but the version without the noodles wasn’t great.

Mouthwatering, wonderful gluten-free okonomiyaki!

Walked in about fifteen minutes after they opened and asked about gluten-free as I had read conflicting information online, and they said they can do it. The hostess did get nervous when I said I had a gluten allergy (really I have celiac disease but this can be more complicated to explain). But I’m not super sensitive to cross-contamination so I told her I wouldn’t die, and took a gluteguard before eating.

I went by myself and was seated quickly. Menu is very clearly labeled, which the hostess was quick to point out to me, and all the okonomiyaki can be made gluten-free.

Overall they are good about cross-contamination in terms of keeping the gluten-free separate and using different utensils. Unsure about the noodles being boiled in separate water, but they seemed to appear from somewhere else rather than the big group boiling station. The one place I saw certain cross-contamination was when mine was brushed with a common vat of sauce that was just used to brush the normal okonomiyaki. Probably you could ask them politely to pour the sauce from a different container, as they also give you some in a bottle with your meal to add as you like. But no gluten reaction afterward!

Okonomiyaki was absolutely scrumptious! Loved it and I wish I had eaten here more than once! Very kind and accommodating staff, fun vibrant environment.
